Philo Man Sentenced In Shooting
A Philo man is sentenced to prison Monday in connection with the shooting of a Muskingum County man last year.
40-year-old James Harris was accused of shooting 36-year-old Trevor Carson in the back three times in November of 2009 at 5971 National Road.
Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle sentenced Harris to 4 and a half years in prison on a charge of aggravated assault with a gun specification.
He plead guilty to the charge this past June.
Investigators say Harris went on the run after the shooting last year and was arrested in Nelsonville about a week later.
