There still may be snow on the ground, but it’s not too soon to start thinking about landscaping your home.

Lones Stone and Landscape Supply employees say it’s a good idea to have a plan in place.

"Do you want a pond, patio, or well? What the sizes are. Exactly what you want to do. Then we can help figure out, do you want to add more things to it, adjust to your price, or what you feel really works for you, " says employee Garrett Thorton.

Some popular items people are going for this year include the ponds and patios.

"Outdoor kitchens are something that’s starting to become more popular. It started in warmer climates, but now it’s kind of coming this way now, " says Thorton.

Landscaping projects can range anywhere from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars. Thorton says it’s a really good investment because it can add value to your home in the long run.
