Port Receives Over $20m in Funding

Muskingum County- The All-Ohio Future Fund awarded the Zanesville-Muskingum County Port Authority with over $20m during the State Controlling Board Meeting.

The $20,701,384 in funds are to assist in the site preparation and upgrades to water and wastewater service at the 600 plus acres project site in Muskingum County. It will enhance infrastructure and facilitate business growth and employment.

These improvements will allow the Port Authority to market to a variety of potential major end-users and encourage investment in the region.

The All-Ohio Future Fund was established in the 2024-2025 State Operating Budget through Ohio House Bill 33 to invest $750m to aid local communities with site-readiness and preparation to attract economic development projects.
