Power Outage in Perry County

American Electric Power said to expect electric to be restored by noon on Thursday for those in Perry County without service.

AEP said the power went out in the Crooksville area just after midnight when a tree fell onto power lines. The outage is effecting around 1,200 customers.

A representative from AEP said that the tree needed to be cut away from the lines before repairs could get underway.
