Power outages reported
American Electric Power has reported Sunday power outages in the areas of Roseville, Shawnee and New Lexington.
AEP said close to 900 customers are without power in the Roseville area due to a breaker failure. The company estimated power will return around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.
AEP also said 1205 customers are without power in the Shawnee area due to storms and tree contact with power lines. They are estimating power to return around 11 p.m. Sunday night.
Lastly, AEP said 395 customers are without power in the New Lexington area. Equipment issue crews are investigating the cause, but a number of reports claim multiple trees are down due to storms. The company is expecting power will not return until around noon on Monday.
