Power Outages Update

Some American Electric Power customers woke up in the dark Thursday morning.

Around 1:50a.m. a spokesman at the power company said that a mechanical problem arose at a Maysville substation and some equipment was damaged. 

At one time power was out to over 2,200 AEP customers. Service was restored just before 6:30a.m. Thursday.
