Precautionary boil advisory issued

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–Due to an emergency water main repair in the area of South Street, the Zanesville Water Division is issuing a precautionary boil alert for customers in the affected area listed below.
DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for at least one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

An additional notice will be given when the boil advisory is lifted. For further information contact the City of Zanesville Water Division at (740) 455-0631
