Quaker City Man Charged with Murder

Leach
Guernsey County- A Quaker City man faces charges connected to a homicide investigation that began the morning of Friday, March 15.
Sheriff Jeffrey Paden said 32-year-old Dalton John Leach, of Quaker City, was charged with two counts of murder with firearm specifications. He’s currently in the Guernsey County Jail awaiting a bond hearing later this week in Cambridge Municipal Court.
Sheriff Paden said deputies responded to a Madison Township residence to conduct a well-being check on a 55-year-old female, after family reported they hadn’t been able to make contact with her for several hours. The woman was found deceased inside the residence with suspicious circumstances.
Authorities identified Leach as a person of interest and he was located in the Indianapolis, Indiana area and taken into custody on initial charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle. Leach was transported back to the Guernsey County Jail on Monday.
