QuickBooks training sessions

2018.01.16 Bwc Chamber Plan

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is offering training courses on a very popular software for businesses.

There will be seven 90 minute sessions once a month explaining the different parts of QuickBooks. The computer program is an accounting software that enables companies to effectively run their finances.

“Quickbooks has kind of become a generic term kind of like Kleenex. So when somebody says QuickBooks, you automatically know that’s an accounting software for businesses,” said President Dana Matz.

Matz said that QuickBooks is critical to managing cash flow. After these training sessions, companies will better know how to manage their money, expenses, and payroll. The lessons will start with how to properly set up vendors and transfer into tax planning.

“The information will shift into preparing for your tax season. So, what do you give to your accountant, your CPA, at the end of the year? We’ve heard stories about how people walk in with a shoebox full of receipts and letters and say here it is. The great thing about QuickBooks is, you can be a lot more effective and efficient in running your business,” said Matz.

Sessions will begin in March and start at 7:30 A.M. To sign up, or for more information, contact the Chamber of Commerce.
