Rambo Memorial Health Center offers flu shots

ZANESVILLE, Ohio -Â Rambo Memorial Health Center is now offering flu shots to the public.
Flu shot season is in full swing, and Rambo is open to give vaccinations Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. They will stay open until 6 p.m. on Thursday’s until November 3rd. They will also be open on Saturday at their office and the Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. until noon.
Clinic Nurse at Rambo, Jennifer Richards, said they are giving flu shots to in-county residents for $5. If they are out of county, it is $20.
The flu mist will not be available this year, but health officials are still urging the public to get the vaccine.
“It’s beneficial for everyone to get a flu shot. The CDC says get them as soon as they are available. It takes two weeks to be effective in your body, and the peak time that they work is 3-6 months,” said Richards.
Rambo accepts traditional Medicare Part B, Humana Medicare, and Medigold Medicare. Appointments are not necessary.
