Randles Sentenced in Harrison Twp. EMS Case
The last of the defendants charged in the Harrison Township EMS theft case has been sentenced.
56-year-old Mary Randles appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monday where she was sentenced on a theft charge to 3 years of Community Control and 30 days in jail with 14 days already served.
She also must perform 50 hours of public service and make restitution of $4,100.
Six other defendants in the case, Brian Hatfield, Robert Hatfield, Beverly Hatfield, Heather Price, Terry Randles and Richard Bennett have already been sentenced.
The case was investigated by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and focused on the misspending of $500,000 that was designated for emergency services for Harrison Township.
