Real Estate Market Rising
Good news for home sellers and buyers, the real estate market is starting to improve in central Ohio and statewide.
Realtor, Jay Butler, believes Muskingum County real estate is beginning to stabilize.
"The residential market stabilized which is a real good thing, previously, the last 24 months, it had dropped 18-24% on conveyance values," he said.
According to Butler, interest rates are historically low right now, allowing buyers with good credit to purchase readily.
"Since the residential market has stabilized, I expect to see a two percent increase annually," he said.
43% of home sales are to first time buyers, while investors make up only %17.
