Rebecca “Becky” L. Brown
Rebecca “Becky” L. Brown, 63, of Laurelville, died at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville. She was born August 16, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Gwendolyn Watkins Mohler. She was a registered nurse at Bethesda Hospital for ten years and worked at Rambo Memorial Health Center. Along with her husband they owned Excel Inspection Company, Inc. Becky was an avid cook and a friend to everyone and loved by all.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Brown, who she married February 24, 2006; three daughters, Jenna (Rodshay Burney) Dietz, Jodi (Michael) Lang, and Jill (Jim) Stemm; three sisters, Melissa (Ron) Dobbins, Susan (Larry) Hoover, and Cheryl (David) Murrey; eight grandchildren, Josie (Marcus Cox), Jalen, Alexis (JD), Madison, Brody, Riley, Carter, and Megan; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Bill, Dick, and Randy Mohler and a sister, Rosalie Mohler.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 23, 2018, with Rev. Stephen J. Harrop officiating. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora.
