Reminder for Election Day
ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â Super Tuesday is right around the corner and the Muskingum County Board of Elections has a reminder for voters.
On Tuesday, November 8th, the polls will open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. at their downtown Zanesville location.
Director, Timothy Thompson, said that despite impressive early voting results they’re still expecting a decent turnout.
“We had a pretty good turnout so far and we expect that to continue,” said Thompson.
They have already had 14,000 early voters. Thompson said thats about a little more than 25% of the total 53,000 registered voters in the county.
Thompson urged voters to use their website, boe.muskingumcounty.org or the app “Ohio Voting Info,” to find out voting locations or to answer any other questions.
