A Resident shares concerns about the county’s water supply

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Muskingum County Commissioners heard from a county resident on his concerns about the county’s water supply.
Watchman Bible Church, Pastor Terry Renner said there are impurities in the water and more should be done to get it out.
“Even though you have state of the art water systems, which is good especially for Muskingum County and the City of Zanesville, there’s other things that we can do ourselves to get that chromium-6 out,” Renner said.
Renner said the commissioners are aware of the issue and there are ways to filter Chromium-6 out of your water.
“Through osmosis or throughout filtering our water. You can get a lot of those carcinogens out of it,” Renner said.
Renner said his meeting Thursday with commissioners was not to ask for funding, it was simply to get his voice heard.
