Rhythm and Blues Festival To Be Held at Secrest Auditorium Saturday

DOWNTOWN ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Tomorrow the Secrest Auditorium is hosting it’s last free concert of the summer. It’s the Rhythm and Blues festival taking place from 2PM to 10PM in the parking lot across from the auditorium.
There will be DJ Adonis Brooks all evening with The Flew Crew, Motown Sounds of Touch, and The Deal Breakers all performing at different times during the event.
“They’ll be food vendors, the Zanesville Jaycee’s will be on hand for their beer wagon. The event is free of charge so come down, have some fun, bring your lawn chairs, we’re looking forward to it,” Rick Sabine, Manager of Secrest Auditorium stated.
With the hot and steamy weather behind us and cooler weather in the forecast, the folks at Secrest Auditorium are excited to have pleasant weather for their Rhythm and Blues Festival for summer’s last hoo-rah.
“I think people can come out and take advantage of the nice day. And you know, Labor Day weekend as you say kicks off the fall season, and we think people will take advantage of it,” Sabine said.
There will be food and drink vendors a-plenty, so you’ll be able to jam out and grab a bite to eat. The Secrest Auditorium does have some plans in the works for some events in the fall and winter, but tomorrow is your last chance to attend a concert as a part of the Zanesville Summer Concert Series.
