Rick “Blinky” L. Todd (November 4, 1951 – September 3, 2010)

HILLIS & HARDWICK FUNERAL HOME OBIT:

Rick “Blinky” L. Todd, 58 of Zanesville went to be home with his Lord at 7:30 AM Friday, September 03, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Cancer Unit, Zanesville following a two year courage battle with cancer.

He was born Sunday, November 04, 1951 in Zanesville the son of Russell and Dorothy (LaMay) Todd.

He worked in general maintenance most of his life and was an avid fisherman. In his younger days he was the lead singer for the “Sands of Time” music group.

He is survived by three children Staci (David “Tip”) Tipton, Mike Todd and Tawnya Todd Bickford all of Zanesville. Four grandchildren Kayla, Cheyenne and Kristin Tipton & Trentin J. Todd; 5 great grandchildren. A sister Sue (Jon) Labaki and a brother William Dady both of Zanesville. A special friend Alanna Fluhart of Zanesville.

Preceded in death in addition to his parents by a grandson Levi Houston.

Visitation will be held at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. on Tuesday Sept. 7 from 1-3 and then 5-7 with funeral service to follow at 7pm. A private burial will be scheduled at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery.
