Road Construction Scheduled in Muskingum County
A culvert and bridge replacement project will begin Monday, August 10.Â
The Muskingum County Engineers office reports that a portion of Cutler Lake Road in Salt Creek Township will be closed for approximately 60 days. The road will be closed for a bridge replacement over Manns Fork Salt Creek. This is a half mile south of Mock Road (TR 383) and 1.5 miles north of Ridgeview Road (TR 452).
Also, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced State Route 666 will be closed starting Monday. S.R. 666 will be closed between Culbertson Road and Bateman Road for repairs in coordination with the Muskingum County Water Department. ODOT reported the road will be closed Monday starting at 7:30 a.m. and is scheduled to reopen Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. Traffic for this project will be detoured to S.R. 60 to S.R. 208 and back to S.R. 666.
ODOT also has a project scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 12.
State Route 93 will be closed between Sarbaugh Road and Mercer Road as crews will be replacing culverts. The road will be closed Wednesday through Saturday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day. Weather permitting, the road is scheduled to reopen Saturday evening. South bound traffic will be detoured on S.R. 83 to I-70 west and back to S.R. 93. Northbound traffic will be detoured to I-70 East to S.R. 83 North.
