Roseville Raises Flood Gates After Heavy Rains
It’s been a stormy night in our region and the rest of Ohio after a series of storms – with heavy rain and lighting – causing some flash flooding and power outages. Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency Director Bo Keck says there are problems in the Roseville-Crooksville area. He says there were units in the Village Green Apartments that were affected by flooding, but there were no actual evacuations. Keck did say the flood gates are up in Roseville until officials can assess the flooding situation. The Red Cross is on the scene as well as the Roseville and Crooksville Fire Departments. There are no injuries reported. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that State Route 345 South of Fultonham is closed due to high water.
