S. “JoAnn” Knapp, 83, of Duncan Falls, passed away July 24, 2011 at Emeritus @ North Hills, Zanesville.

JoAnn was born December 9, 1927 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late William Floyd and Martha Ann (Hall) McClellan. She was a homemaker.

JoAnn is survived by her three daughters Shirley (Larry) Khune of Blue Rock, Sue Riley of Homer City, PA and Pat (Steve) Harrop of Blue Rock; one sister Donna McClellan of Zanesville, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband Herman Harold Knapp who passed away April 3, 1994, her two sons William Knapp and Gary Knapp, a brother Carroll “Mac” McClellan and a sister Virginia McClellan.

Visitations will be 5 to 8 pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am Thursday with Pastor Stephen Harrop officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
