Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio- The 52nd Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival will take place August 12, 13 and 14 in Cambridge City Park.

The Board President of the Ohio Arts and Crafts Foundation, Stephanie Bridwell, said this is a great time to come enjoy the performing and visual arts.

“We have over 70 artists coming. A wide variety of performances from a lot of local favorites and also nationally known bluegrass bands. In the student art tent we’ll have over 275 pieces by students from four different counties and great food and great company,” Bridwell exclaimed.

Bridwell also said this year they have added a couple new features.

“We have a chalk artist and a chalk contest. We have bluegrass musicians every year but this year we have workshops where our community members can come if they want to work on their fiddle techniques or guitar- get tips from masters. We have a puppet troop coming in, we have storytellers. So we have a lot of things for kids, a lot of great art from all over the place and a chance to just see all your old favorites,” Bridwell said.

The festival takes place on Friday from 12 p.m.-7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Parking and admissions are free. There will be shuttle service, an air conditioned pavilion and food trucks.

This festival is a celebration of creativity and craftsmanship for generations to enjoy.
