Sandra Sue “Sandy” (Roberts) Harris Clapper

Sandra Sue “Sandy” (Roberts) Harris Clapper, 75 of Zanesville, died 4:45 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Zanesville Health & Rehab Center following a short illness. She was born Friday, May 29, 1942, in Zanesville, the daughter of Elden Roberts and Edith (Perrine) Roberts and was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church. Sandra was formerly employed by Perry County Cheese; she loved to play bingo; scratch off lottery tickets and her Dog Rex. Sandy was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Sandy is survived by four children: Tammy (Jeff) Wood of Franklin, NC, Cindy (Rick) Talbert of Zanesville, Linda (Mike) Saxton of Roseville and John (Tonya) Harris of Blue Rock; twelve grandchildren: Jeffery (Danyle) Wood, Brent Wood, Mitch Wood, Teresa (Nichole) Valentine, Terry Valentine, Maegen Tablert , Stephen Talbert, Chris (Erin) Revennaugh, T.J. (Kristy ) Revennaugh , Dustin & Justin Harris and John Harris IV; numerous great grandchildren; extended family including four step-children: Becky, Debbie, Virgil and Mike Clapper; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by one great granddaughter: Braylee Dawn Euman one brother and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, November 27, 2017, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 28, with Pastor Steve Judson officiating.
