School Principal Returns from Pakistan

A school principal is back in Zanesville after spending the last three years in Pakistan.

Dale Eineder travels to different nations and educates the children of people living abroad.  After graduating from Ohio University-Zanesville, Eineder became a middle school reading teacher in Peru before starting his administrative career in Chile.

"I like teaching overseas because of the impact of the students," said Eineder.  "They’re the movers and shakers of the world."

He and his wife have met people from all over the world.  Eineder said they bring back more than souviners – the memories they make last a lifetime.

"We were in Pakistan going to a little coffee shop, and we met a young woman named Maria," said Eineder.  "She was Sri Lankan living in Pakistan, but she was raised in an orphanage, and Mother Theresa used to braid her hair."

Eineder encourages other teachers to join International Schools Services.  For more information about the application process, you can visit www.iss.edu.
