Searching For Newark Bank Robbery Suspect

The search is on for the man who robbed a Newark bank.
It happened Thursday afternoon at the Park National Bank on Granville Road. Sergeant Scott Snow says one man entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding an unspecified amount of money. Snow says the suspect is described as a white male, between five-feet six and five-feet 10 inches tall, short haircut and goatee. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a dark colored, long sleeve shirt and a white bath towel around his neck. He also has a tattoo on the right side of his neck. According to witnesses the suspect may be driving a red car. No weapon was shown during the incident. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Newark police.
