Semi Accident Sends One to OSU Medical Center

A car crashes into a semi and sends one person to the hospital.

The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says it happenened on Interstate 77 North near the U.S. 22 Exit around 11pm Monday in Guernsey County.

A car and a semi were both headed north on I-77 when the car hit the semi and flipped. The driver of the car was ejected from the vehicle and was flown by Medflight to The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. 

Troopers had the Interstate I-77shut down for several hours but it has since reopened. The accident remains under investigation.
