Senecaville couple identified as victims in Florida shooting
SENECAVILLE, Ohio-Â A Guernsey County couple has been identified as victims of the Florida airport shooting.
Senecaville resident, Shirley Timmons, was among the 5 killed at Fort Lauderdale airport according to AP News. Her husband, Steve Timmons, was shot and wounded and is reportedly in critical condition.
The couple had flown to Florida to join the rest of their family on a cruise. They were owners of The Mayfair women’s clothing stores in Cambridge and Barnesville that closed in 2004 according to WILE-FM.
The radio station reports the Timmonses would have been celebrating their 51st anniversary this month.
They were both 70 years old.
