Several in Custody following Drugs Busts
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said they’ve taken several people into custody following the execution of two search warrants.
Sheriff Tim Rogers reported around 9:20pm Monday detectives issued the first warrant in the 1800 block of Cambridge Road in the City of Coshocton. Seven people were taken into custody without incident.
Around 11:45pm detectives served the second warrant in the 1800 block of Walnut Street, also in the City of Coshocton.
As a result of the warrants a large of amount of what is believed to be heroin, cash, a firearm and crack cocaine were seized.
Assisting detectives were members of the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.
The incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
