Sheridan ends regular season with win over Fairfield Union

THORNVILLE, Ohio — Sheridan ended their regular season with a 57-51 win over Fairfield Union on Monday night. The win gives the Generals a 19-3 record, equaling them for the most wins by a team since 2000.
Sheridan, who has lost to the Falcons in each of the previous two seasons, was certainly looking for revenge against last year’s District Champions before they begin their post-season run.
Grey Bennett had a career-high 18 points, including five three-point makes. Grant Heileman added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the Generals.
Sheridan opens up their post-season run on Saturday night, where they will face the winner of Tuesday’s match-up between Circleville and Marietta.
