Sheridan rolls in opening tournament game

LOGAN, Ohio – The Sheridan Lady Generals were the first MVL team to open tournament play and didn’t not disappoints at Logan Middle School.

Sheridan was the number one seed in the Southeast District and rolled to a 99-39 win over eighth seeded Gallia Academy. Rachel Cooke scored 31 points and had a school record nine three-pointers. The 99 points scored by the Lady Generals was also a school record.

Sheridan advances and on Saturday will play the winner of the Meigs-Jackson game.
