Sheriff: Perry County Drug Houses Raided

Perry County Sheriff William Barker says he is releasing details from two recent raids on drug houses. Barker says the first happened on December 8th at 209 Vaughn Street in Crooksville. The Sheriff says detectives
seized bulk quantities of Methamphetamines and drug packing equipment from the home. Two people were detained and later released pending formal charges. The second raid happened December 14th at 218 Highland Drive in New Lexington. Sheriff Barker says Task Force Agents made a series of undercover purchases of heroin in the past month. Barker says agents seized bulk quantities of heroin along with several firearms and currency. Two arrests were made and their names won’t be released until formal charges are filed.
