Sink Hole To Close Road Until Friday
The City of Zanesville says part of Taylor Street near Blue Avenue will remain closed Thursday overnight after a water main break caused a sink hole. Mayor Jeff Tilton says a car drove into the sink hole around 5:30 Thursday morning. Water Department Superintendent Paul Mills says customers in that part of town lost water service until the break could be repaired, which has now been done. Mills says Taylor Street – From Moorehead to Blue will remain closed until Friday. The cause of the break is being blamed on old water lines. Mills says this is the 45 break this year.
