Snow Hits Zanesville Again
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It’s only been one week since our last winter snow storm.
Last night, rain turned into snow and was falling all through the night. With the cold temperatures and the inconvenience it has on the roads, we spoke with one local on his thoughts on the snow hitting Zanesville once more.
“Snow is fun for the kids. You know, they have stuff to do, go sledding. But I feel bad for the people who have to work in it. There are accidents all over the place, and it’s hard to get through traffic and all that,” said local, Mike Davis.
O-DOT is out trying to clear and make progress on the roads. The best ways people could have prepared for the snow is by creating a plan, and it was important to stay indoors.
“Get plenty of food, water. Make sure you have some stuff to do in the house cause some people might not be able to get out of the house,” said Davis.
If you are going to go out driving, check to see if your county is under a snow emergency, and all motorists should allow plenty of time to get to their destination.
