Snow To Arrive After Midnight
The first snow of the year is just a few hours away. WHIZ meteorologist Phil Sakal says the snow will start between midnight and 2:00 a-m and continue through the Tuesday morning rush hour. He says we can get 2 to 4 inches and in some areas more by tomorrow afternoon. The Ohio Department of Transportation in Muskingum County will bring in a crew of 20 at 11:30 this evening in anticipation of the storm. Other counties are making similar arrangements. ODOT says it did not pre-treat area roads because of the expected dry snow and the low temperatures. WHIZ news will have all your school and event cancelations the moment they are reported.
