Sobriety Checkpoint Locations Announced

The Highway Patrol has announced the location of Friday’s sobriety checkpoints. Here in Muskingum County Zanesville Post troopers will be set up on Northpointe Drive from 8 to 11 p.m. The Lancaster Post of the Highway Patrol says their sobriety checkpoint will be located on State Route 93 between 9:00 and 11:00 p.m. The checkpoints will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes. If you plan to drink alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements.
