Sobriety Checkpoint Planned In Noble County

The Highway Patrol announced which area county will host a sobriety checkpoint. Troopers say it will be held Friday evening in Noble County. It’s funded by federal grants and is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The Highway Patrol says there were 309 drunken driving fatal crashes in Ohio last year and 341 people were killed as a result. The exact location of the checkpoint will be announced Friday.
