Sobriety Checkpoints in Muskingum/Perry Counties

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol has announced that a sobriety checkpoint will be held Friday.

Lt. Matt Boyd says his troopers will be looking for impaired drivers in Muskingum County. The event is funded by federal grants. The exact location of the sobriety checkpoint will be announced Friday morning. If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements.

The Lancaster Post of the Highway Patrol also announced a sobriety checkpoint in Perry County on Friday. The location will be announced Friday morning.
