South Zanesville Fire Department’s Meat Raffle

ZANESVILLE, OH – The South Zanesville Fire Department’s monthly meat raffle is back for another fun night at Amrou Grotto.
The doors will open at 6 and the raffle will begin at 7 on Saturday night.
Russell Taylor, Chief of the South Zanesville Fire Department, says the meat raffle is a way to help get a little bit of holiday shopping out of the way.
“The cost of meat these days is really high.” Taylor said. “This gives people a chance to get good quality meat that doesn’t cost you as much.”
Chief Taylor said all of the proceeds from this raffle will be split between the Fire Department and Amrou Grotto.
“The proceeds come to the Fire Department and will also go to the Grotto.” Taylor said. “The Grotto will use it to help out handicapped kids in the community.”
Admission is $5 and it covers drinks as well as snacks for the raffle. Tickets for the meat raffle are between $1 and $5.
