Spring Forward Saturday Night
You may have an extra hop in your step as we spring forward Saturday night.
Locals in our area remember the time change many different ways.
"Usually by either the radio or TV, watching the news at night, they will remind me," says truck driver, Ronnie Fisher.
"The thing I remembered most about daylight savings time is the fact that it gave us enough extra hour to work on the farm everyday, which I didn’t much care for," says Lawrence Soller who grew up on a farm in Southeastern Ohio.
While they all say the follow the old adage of "fall back, spring forward", they are not too happy about losing an hour of sleep.
"I don’t like it at all, at my age you want all the sleep you can get ," says Soller.
"I hate it because I am not a morning person and I like to get my sleep," says mother Erin Carpenter.
Also, don’t forget to change the clock in your car, but electronic clocks and cellular phones will reset automatically.
