Spring Grant Competition Applications Due

Applications are coming due for the Muskingum County Community Foundation’s Spring grant competition.

Non-profit organizations dealing with the arts, education or recreation are eligible to apply for the grant. Foundation CEO Brian Wagner said several thousand dollars will be given out.

“They’ll be about $30,000 available and how the distribution committee decides to divvy that up among the grants that the applications received will be at the discretion of the committee,” Wagner said.

He added that this is something the Community Foundation does each year. It infuses money into the community.

“It’s what we do,” Wagner said. “The idea of being able to pull the resources together to then give back out to organizations that are doing great work in our community that’s the reason the foundation exists.”

Applications are due Friday, March 13 and interested organizations can visit www.mccf.org to apply.
