State Patrol responds to single vehicle crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a one car rollover accident Monday afternoon.

It happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. just east of Chandlersville at the intersection of 146 west and Watson Road. According to the highway patrol, a man in his early 60s was heading east on 146 when he veered off the right side of the road and struck a culvert. That impact caused his Toyota RAV4 to roll onto the passenger side and land upright on the opposite side of Watson Road.

The highway patrol said the man was able to exit the vehicle on his own power with only minor injuries. The highway patrol credited that to all of the vehicle’s side air bags deploying. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by the New Concord Fire Department.
