State Treasurer Sponsoring Programs

The State Treasurer is trying to stimulate growth in small business and agricultural communities.

Regional Representative Jim Bernholtz paid a visit to the Muskingum County Commissioners on Monday.  The four programs under consideration are GrowNOW, ECO-Link, SaveNOW and Ag-LINK.  Commissioner Jerry Lavy said Muskingum County’s agricultural population could benefit from the Ag-LINK program.

"There’s another one that’s called GrowNOW, and this program gives small business owners somewhere like a 3% reduction in their bank loans when the loan is linked to retaining employees or new employees," said Lavy.
