Statue of Liberty Snow Replica

You don’t have to travel to New York City to see the Statue of Liberty.

Zanesville resident Mike Penington has a snow replica of the statue in front of his 2350 Blue Avenue home.

It’s over 96 inches tall and is held up by a 2X4, which runs through the center of the snow sculpture.

Penington says he worked on the project from noon until dusk yesterday.

He says he originally wanted to make a replica of the sphinx but he would have needed more snow.
