Sterling Suites Hosts Preview Party

A Zanesville rehabilitation center is trying to bridge the gap between a hospital stay and home.

Sterling Suites hosted a preview party to introduce the facility to the community.  Zandex Health Care employees cut the ribbon alongside the Muskingum County Commissioners and Mayor Jeff Tilton.  Administrator Tracy Rector said the short-term inpatient rehab center is one of a kind.

"We have beautiful, private suites that are completely furnished with all the amenities including a flat screen television and comfortable furniture," said Rector.  "All of the meals are prepared by our staff, but more importantly, our therapy services are top notch."

The facility has 50 beds and both registered nurses and licensed practical nurses on staff.  Rector said the idea has been in the works for years.

"We want people to come from outside of Zanesville to receive their therapy services and get quality customer service as part of a wonderful experience after their surgery."

Sterling Suites does not have an official open date yet, but Rector said it should be soon.  For more information, stop by 1126 Adair Avenue.
