Straker Foundation Hosts Inspiring Women’s Leadership Luncheon
ZANESVILLE, OH – A wave of inspiration swept through the Zanesville Country Club on October 10th.
The J.W. & M.H. Straker Foundation held a Women’s Leadership Luncheon. The event brought together community leaders, particularly women, to discuss challenges they face in leadership roles.
“We’re going to talk a lot about leadership and what that looks like especially from a female perspective within the nonprofit sector. There are different battles that a professional businesswoman may face. We’re just trying to get them together to create an environment where we can have some of those open dialog,” Special Event Director Beth Fox said.
The luncheon provided a space to share stories and offer support. The hope is that every woman left the event feeling inspired, empowered, and ready to take on their roles with newfound confidence.
“I just hope they take away that we are all walking this road of life together, and that if we can come together a little bit more often, collaborate, and lean on each other in those times of struggle, we can accomplish great things,” Fox said.
This was the Straker Foundations first Women’s Leadership Luncheon, and they hope it brings more collaborative efforts in the future.
