Stuff the Truck

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Saturday is national Make a Difference Day and one organization has a simple way for everyone to help the community.
Christ’s Table will be holding their Stuff the Truck event this weekend at the Kroger on Maple Ave where they will be accepting food donations.
“And the cool thing about this, it is Make a Difference Day,” said Executive Director Keely Warden. “So if you’re out there looking for a way to make a difference, it will certainly make a difference. Come up and visit us at Kroger, do some shopping, and purchase a couple extra things for Christ’s Table.”
Warden said they are always looking for things like canned fruit and vegetables but they would also appreciate holiday specific items as well.
“But again, the holiday season is coming really quickly so we’re looking at the stuffing and the potatoes and those types of things that we can utilize for Thanksgiving and Christmas,” said Warden.
Warden said they will be at the Kroger on Maple Ave from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday.
