Susan McDonald: Women of Achievement Recipient

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- One area woman is being honored for her contribution to the community.
Susan McDonald is more than just a local attorney, she is also an adviser to the Muskingum County 4-H Junior Leadership Club, and recipient of the Aldine Roach Flegal Special Recognition Award.
“I was really pleased to be selected I have gone to the event and had admired and looked up to the recipients and many of them I’m familiar with in the community and I would call mentors to me and others and I’m really proud to be included in that group of ladies,” said McDonald.
Her community involvement has been years in the making, something she attributed to her upbringing.
“The ladies that nominated me all have known me through the 4-H program and that is my true love,” said McDonald. “My family has been involved with Muskingum County 4-H since before I was born and it has been a lifetime achievement, involvement, [and] love for my family.”
McDonald’s two sons are involved in the 4-H program and she said she hopes to pass that passion and community involvement on to them.
