Suspect arrested in New Lexington School threat investigation
NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio–New Lexington School Officials announced Friday the arrest of a suspect in connection to recent threats made against the School District.
According to a Facebook post, officials say law enforcement apprehended a suspect and that they are confident the situation has been resolved.
On Thursday, New Lexington Police Chief Scott Ervin said his office along with other law enforcement partners had launched an investigation into the threats made toward the New Lexington School District.
School officials thanked the community for their support and communication in helping the District resolve the issue.
