Suspect Sought in Grand Theft Investigation

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a grand theft investigation.

According to Detective Steve Welker on Friday December 3rd at around 2 p.m. a woman stole $500 from a purse in the Wal-Mart parking lot on the Maysville Pike.

Welker says the suspect was in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Nissan 4-Runner.
