Tamara Brown Visits Zanesville
Tamara Brown of the Black Theater Workshop of Montreal made a visit to Zanesville.
The purpose of her visit was to familiarize herself with the Zanesville area and promote the CASS-Mind Academy, the Pure Arts Center and the new Putnam Project for her summer workshop. Brown will be directing these summer programs.
"What we’ll be doing is we’ll be doing some acting and movement and theater workshops with youth ages 16 to 18, 5 days a week and it’s really an incredible opportunity I think to build team skills."
The project will be beginning June 5th and run through July 4th of this year. Brown says its an incredible confidence builder. We also had the chance to talk to Cassandra McDonald about an Autism Walk that will be taking place on Sunday in honor of Autism Awareness month.
"We’re going to have a live band, live singers, horses to ride, fun, food, walk and a 5k run that we’re adding this year."
The Autism Walk will begin at the Buckingham House. Registration will begin 12PM . Everyone is invited to come out and support this great cause. If you are interested in learning more about the walk or the Putnam Project with Tamara Brown, you can call the number: 888-204-4277
