Testimony Continues In Wright Murder Trial

The murder trial of a Zanesville father accused in the death of his 5 month-old son entered day two on Tuesday.

 On August 2nd of 2010 the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office was called to the home of Dale Wright in the 2000 block of the East Pike and found Dash Christopher Wright not breathing.

The mother of the victim, Rosemary Elson was called to the stand by the prosecution and testified that she never abused her child and could not see her husband doing it either.

Elson testified that she is willing to create reasonable doubt for her husband and be a suspect in the case. 

 Earlier Tuesday Dr. Robert McCoy of Genesis HealthCare System testified.

The trial is expected to last through Thursday.
